Positively Unleashed

Train Without a Chain

Private lessons in your home are custom-fit to you and your dog. In your own environment you
all will be focused and relaxed, the best conditions for learning.

Private lessons are the only option for:
Pups not fully vaccinated! Even 7 weeks old!
Be proactive. Don't wait until he has bad habits or "issues". Teach him what to do instead
of nipping, mouthing, stealing, chewing everything, pestering the cat and bouncing off the
children. Learn how to properly socialize him. Learn to potty train him quickly.

Private lessons are the only option for:

  Dog-dog aggression,Dog-human aggression
Resource guarding, Phobias, Problems your dog only exhibits at home

Private lessons are usually the best option for:
  • Busy families. Lessons take place according to your schedule so that everyone will get to participate. Private lessons are more efficient than a class because   1) there is no travel on your part, 2) I work with your dog more,  3) you never wait for anyone else, 4) everyone learns faster when not distracted, and 5) we focus on exactly what you and your dog need at that moment.
  • Variable schedules. Doctors, nurses, fire fighters, and people who travel often choose private lessons because it would be difficult to attend a class at the same day and time every week.
  • Difficult dogs. Some dogs are too hyper, fearful, unruly, or unpredictable to bring to class. Some bark constantly in public. Some vomit in the car. Some dogs just need one private lesson so you can control them enough to bring to a class.
  • Fearful owners. If you are afraid of other dogs, private lessons suit you best.
  • Disabled individuals. If attending a class is hard for you, choose private lessons.
  • People with multiple dogs. Private lessons are the more affordable option since you do not pay per dog.
